Wheels and tires came in from Tirerack today for the Fiero! I’m ready to dodge some cones now!

So it has been pointed out to me that saying that I ‘put a tape dispenser in a microwave’ implies I put it in the microwave, closed the door, and turned it on. Well, I didn’t. And I didn’t intend to imply that either - though the wording now does seem to sound that way… ‘I put it in the microwave’… it is true that when one usually says that, visions of something inside getting nuked comes to mind, though how else would I state the simple fact that I had simply placed the dispenser in the microwave without turning it on? Our world is full of complexities…

I wonder if an Amway product that looks like it’s from the 70s, and has the words “Copyright 1973″ on the side, is still manufactured… It is a glass water-spot remover paste, and it works quite well.

I think it’s pretty cool how the Fiero community loves to swap in all sorts of engines. Anything from a Quad4 to a Northstar V8. Nice. My personal goal is to swap in a 93-95 camaro or firebird block - its pretty much a straight swap for the stock 2.8 V6 already in there - plus it looks 100% stock

Well, I’m trying to start a Fiero club here in Hawaii, and so far the response from the Pontiac Fiero community (is there one?) has been lukewarm. Last time i planned a little get-together, no-one showed up! But I’ve been doin’ the grassroots thing, leaving Fiero cards on windshields, scouring the ‘net and buggin’ those poor drivers… Anyway, I am going to build a local Fiero site, and i put up a super-crude page to begin with… More to come.

Read a neat article on CNN about three dimensional search technology. Seems to have great applications in certain fields of expertise, but I don’t know if it will ever be a tool in demand by the general public, as image searching is. I wish google would at least let you refine the image search by pixel dimensions - seems like a pretty simple feature to program in.
