Well, I used to wardial with an ancient Atari ST to get through to Radio Free Hawaii phone in competitions. Don’t see why the same method can’t be used for Idol. Just set up a simple script to randomize the call in so it isnt a regularly timed event. I’m sure that the text messaging system could be hacked too.
