After a full day of monkeying around, I finally got Dungeon Master running on my Apple. I'm running an Atari ST emulator called Hatari which is a little slower than NoSTalgia, but since Hatari is open source and more of a coders emulator, it lets you remap the Mac-ST keys. This came up because when you play DM (Dungeon Master) on the ST, the movement thru the levels is really clean with Left,Right,Forward,Back, as well as sidestep Left and Right using a block of six keys. (Insert & clr home turn you)
Well, on Powerbooks and IBooks there are arrows (good for sidestepping), but no turn arrows, which makes navigating mazes and fighting monsters really difficult. So I made a key remapping file, to make the QWE/ASD keys be my nav keys. Works great!! I (actually my g/f and I) already wasted a few hours playing! FUN! Now to make the Function keys work normal instead of hotkeys for volume / brightness....
