Went to see SteamBoy lasy night at the Hawaii international Film Festival. Excellent animation. Great music. I’d recommend checking it out if you get the chance. Kinda of like olde english cyberpunk - Steampunk.

Strut Assembly thread on PFF So I’ve been trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with my fiero since my accident and it has proven elusive so far. I’ve just recently found out the strut top is distorted somewhat, but not enough to be the cause of my jiggity wheel. The strut itself seems to be ok, not bent. Tie rod end inner and outer probably need replacing, but aren’t bent. WTF. Maybe its the knuckle etc. I’ve been trying to hunt down a 88 GT Fiero that has a clean title for a week or two now, but no luck. Seems like either people are trying to get rid of their Fiero that has no title, a Fiero that looks like crap, or a combination of the two! And for some reason the people that have a Fiero sitting neglected in a yard or garage don’t wanna sell it. The mystery eludes me. I’ve yet to hear from the insurance people if I’ll get a clear title or salvage…. The story continues…..

More ads gondry did i guess doing ads for big companies pays much better than music videos, and you gotta pay bills…. The Bellybutton one definately stuck out on TV though.

Just now while looking for evidence that Michel gondry did a recent Hyundai ad that i saw on Tv that resembles the White Stripes video with sequenced drum kits & instruments, I found out that the Diet Coke ad “Bounce” that has a Fiero cameo in it, was also directed by Gondry. Not sure what I feel about that.

Michel Gondry makes really cool videos. I recently saw “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and it was a great movie. Just came across another one here I would highly recommend getting the DVD Music Directors’ set that includes a bunch of videos by Michel Gondry, Chris Cunningham, and Spike Jonze.

Wal-mart Opening Delayed There is lots of controversy about the development and building of a Wal-Mart near Ala moana center here in Hawaii. They found remains of ancient Hawaiians on the site and native Hawaiian activists want to bury them onsite before the store opens. Read the story.
