Yesterday I installed my old Fiero’s car alarm into my new 86 GT. I forgot how much work it is to install these kinds of things! Plus, the vog didn’t help at all - i was sweating like a mo fo. (vog = volcanic fog) Add that together with kona winds (I really dont know what the hell that means, but I do know that whenever it is hot as sin, its because of the kona winds) and you have a recipe for frustrating, hot and tedious work. It took me a few hours of laboring upside down on the floor of the car to get it all installed, but it probably would have taken longer if i hadn’t marked what wires attached to what stock wires on my old Fiero. Next: swapping out my wiring harness to upgrade to 2nd Gen headlights. I’ll cross my fingers for some nice trade winds!
