oddly i saw a CSI episode with a focus on hot dogs, as well as a history chennal show on hot dogs. and they didnt agree on the origin of the name.

Bounty Hunters
How do bail bonds work? Why is the ‘Dog’ after you? Well, the court sets the bail amount - how much dough someone will need to front in cash or property to get your sorry butt outta jail. The most cost effective way to get outta jail (just like monopoly) is to pony up the exact amount of your own cash. If you don’t have the money, you can get a bail bonds company to pay the money - but you gotta pay them a fee of 10% of the bail amount (no, you ain’t gettin it back). It is in their interest that you show up in court for your trial because if you skip or jump bail they lose the whole bail amount. That’s why they’re gonna send a bounty hunter with some serious hair styling issues after you. So, if the trial gets completed - no matter the result, if you appear in court etc, they get the bail money back. But they’ll probably see you again, next time you commit a crime! And thus is the bounty hunter circle of life.

So I like Dirty Jobs. It’s a cool show, with a cool host, Mike Rowe. And I swear I just spotted him in an Ambien CR commcerial, where he’s just goofin around behind the ‘presenter’.

Breaks MP3 mix posted
I posted the individual mp3 files for two mix sets in non-zipped format on the Spyhunter site, since some people have been having trouble unzipping the compressed files. Both the breaks/trance set Approaching Infinity and breaks/house set Essential House Mix are now live.

Hawaiian Canoes by Hawaii Artist Francis Pimmel
Owa Raha - A search for this term should come up with francis pimmel’s site site, with a list of books in his private library. But it isn’t - and primarily because of a bad meta tag set to revisit after 15 days. Though now changed to 1 day, it still hasn’t updated on google. I guess one must be careful when putting in meta tags huh! Francis Pimmel is an artist who creates historically accurate scale model versions of polynesian / Hawaiian canoes. A canoe by Pimmel is often made from woods native to Hawaii. The types of canoe include outriggers, fishing canoes, the Hokulea and more.
