Apple vs BuyMusic Ads
Does this sound familiar: Apple is upset over BuyMusic.com airing parodies of their silhouette ads. This is not new news - date goes back to 2003. It sure is interesting to see how these issues go back and forth: "Copyright law provides protection for an expression of an idea, but not for the idea itself. However, there is 'substantial similarity' between the two ads that could be used 'at least as a valuable argument' for a copyright-infringement lawsuit"Add comment November 27th, 2005
