Hanzi Smatter 一知åŠè§£
Posted on January 14th, 2006
I'll admit it, I have absolutely no clue as to what 知åŠè§£ means. I am a terrible Westerner abusing Eastern languages. The Hanzi Smatter 一知åŠè§£ site documents incorrect use of Chinese (and some Japanese) in Western culture - mostly Navy tattooes! Though to be fair, I don't even know what Hanzi Smatter means, and that looks like English to me! And aren't the Chinese and Japanese etc just as guilty of trying to use English and making a real big mess of it? We're even then.

Sure, both the Chinese and Japanese are both guilty of using English (or abusing English) in some very funny ways. A fantastic web site that demonstrates this is http://www.engrish.com.
Enjoy!
