Animaatiokone Industries has produced a funky interactive exhibit/kiosk that allows participants to create their own little claymation scenes. While cobbled together from random stuff like a potato peeling machine and a pinball machine, it is nonetheless a very functional and powerful instant workstation. It allows you to onion skin, capture & delete frames, even add a soundtrack. All within the safety of self-contained ’scene’ complete with backdrop, set pieces, controllable using nifty ‘clean room gloves’. Only after creating your own 3 second crude masterpiece will you truly appreciate the talent behind Gromit & his Jacobs cracker eating owner Wallace.
