Wine Preservation
Wine connoisseurs have always been a very choosy breed, sometimes willing to spend exordinant amounts of money on the experieence of enjoying wine. “The Pek Wine Steward prevents wine from spoiling by injecting argon, an inert gas, into thebottle before sealing it airtight with silicon.” Wowee. Fluid dynamics modelling, inert gases, gas injection. My thoughts? Just finish off the bottle! Though this would be perfect to enjoy that $1000 bottle for more than one session.

Army of Dogs
Take the dogs from the slo-mo Pleix video, and the stop-motion mentality from the Squarepusher clip, mash em together, and you’d probably win up with something similar to this “Vie de Chien” stop-motion short by Peter Cserba set to Aphex Twin. So that’s where all those discarded subway tickets end up!

Push those squares!
Another music video, this time for PochePoche by Squarepusher. Stop motion antics involving a whole lotta bottle caps, a couple beers, and some Super Mario action thrown in for good measure. Slow Dogs
What’s better than dogs in super slow motion? Dogs in super slow motion with lasery looking beams and a driving deep trance beat. The track is Birds, and the vid is produced by Pleix, who have a ton of interesting film work that spans from Basement Jaxx videos to the Netlag globe / webcam / time-lapse clip that was spreading around lately. Check it.
