Polynesian Canoe Models

Artist Francis Pimmel continues to makes amazing models of Hawaiian, Marquesan, Samoan and other Polynesian canoes. The build quality, attention to detail, and superb finish put his work in a class of their own. The models range in scale from 12" to a whopping 3 feet long. Many also feature sails made from super-thin wood which are a signature style of Pimmel. He recently added some new photos to his site of Marquesan, Samoan and Hawaiian model canoes.
