Hello Hilton
This is perhaps the only Hello Kitty thing that I am quite repulsed by. Available only in Japan (thank god!), the Sanrio Paris Hilton HK doll is a strange cross-branding of cultures. Bling and cute just don't go together.

Edible Memo Pads
When I saw that a company was selling Edible Memo Pads, I immediately thought of Douglas Coupland's novel jPod. In this book, one of the main characters has a office cubicle where almost everything is edible. Oddly enough, Coupland's precursor to jPod, Microserfs, also has an 'odd food' thread where one character ends up eating only flat food. [via notcot]
