The M-AUDIO X-Session Pro is a MIDI controller for the digital DJ who doesn’t want to shell our the big bucks for an Allen & Heath monster, It features the standard DJ mixer controls as well as the pitch sliders to get your beats synced perfectly. At $130 it seems like a steal, though I’d have to try it in person to see if it feel too much like a toy.

I’m really against rake-thin supermodels, the super-polished cover magazine look, and the paper-thin image of the media. So it was refreshing to see this Dove advertisement that shows why it is that the famous faces of our society look so hot all the time - a massive amount of time in make-up, hair styling, perfect lighting, the right camera lens and a ton of photoshop work.

SFGate reports that the San Francisco Japantown Best Western’s Miyako Inn is going to be getting an exciting makeover. They could do so much more to capitalize on the popularity of all things Japanese - this is a step in the right direction. You can even enter a contest to name the hotel. Here’s what the word is:
The inn’s low-profile, generic Japanese theme will be revamped into an “an energetic, optimistic expression” of contemporary Japanese culture, particularly anime, manga comic books, J-Pop music and street fashion, Harvey said. The hotel aspires also to be a base for shopping in nearby commercial districts.
Its new image can be seen … as a meeting of two magazines — Giant Robot, which is about Asian pop culture, and Lucky, which is about shopping.

The South Park WOW episode was really hilarious, and after watching it I was curious if the Sword of a Thousand Truths was a custom item for the show, or if they just re-used some existing gear. After some digging and research on Thottbot, I found out that the 1000 Truths is actually The Hungering Cold, an Epic one-handed sword that some player might actually have!
