Vinyl Computer Games
I remember when I was a younger dork, and heard the modem track at the end of the Peace and Love Inc album by Information Society. I immediately hooked up the audio output to a modem, waited for a nice handshake, and viola! A text only story encoded as modem squeal on a CD! The Vinyl Data page documents all sorts of such encodings - primarily games encoded onto vinyl records, which need to be dubbed to tape, then played back on your computer’s tape deck (yes, tape deck!).

Virtual Itashi
