Bubblegum Crisis

Posted on December 13th, 2007

20 Years after being released, Bubblegum Crisis may look dated, but the character design, action sequences, and music still hold a strong appeal. Who wouldn’t like a Bladerunner inspired hot girl in a band “Priss and the Replicants” On the DVD are action infused animated music videos that are like official AMVs by the studio. Quite amusing are the horribly cheesey “Live” music video versions of the song - seen 2nd below. There’s an even worse one on the DVD but I couldn’t find a Youtube of it. Third down is another music BGC video that I can’t help but think Daft Punk was inspired by when they made their ‘Discovery’ album movie ‘Interstella 5555″ (Features blatant Queen song ripped off riff)
