Get your iPhone to Flickr Geotag set automatically
Posted on July 11th, 2008
The iPhone 2.0 software now automatically geotags your photos, which is a great value add, even to iPhone 1.0 owners. The problem is, Flickr doesn’t place your iPhone snapshots on a map, or even show that data in the "More properties" view. In order to get Flickr to automatically place your pics on a map, you have to give it permission. Go to the Flickr Persmissions page to change that setting.
It won’t change existing photos though, which is annoying - only new and replaced photos. Happy iPhoning!
