Bounty Hunters

How do bail bonds work? Why is the 'Dog' after you? Well, the court sets the bail amount - how much dough someone will need to front in cash or property to get your sorry butt outta jail. The most cost effective way to get outta jail (just like monopoly) is to pony up the exact amount of your own cash. If you don't have the money, you can get a bail bonds company to pay the money - but you gotta pay them a fee of 10% of the bail amount (no, you ain't gettin it back). It is in their interest that you show up in court for your trial because if you skip or jump bail they lose the whole bail amount. That's why they're gonna send a bounty hunter with some serious hair styling issues after you. So, if the trial gets completed - no matter the result, if you appear in court etc, they get the bail money back. But they'll probably see you again, next time you commit a crime! And thus is the bounty hunter circle of life.
